In the near future, Romania will have its own solar panel manufacturer.
The Romanian company Karpat Solar bought equipment for the solar industry from a Spanish colleague in order to start its own production of solar panels in the country.
A 100,000 kW solar cell production line will be installed in a newly built plant in Transylvania. The commissioning of the enterprise is scheduled for this summer, so that the first deliveries of products to consumers will begin by autumn. Initially, the goods produced under the Karpat Solar brand will be supplied to the domestic market of the country, and then will be available to European buyers.
According to the TaiyangNews information portal, this project is part of a large-scale global program to increase the production of solar energy in Europe. In the near future, it is planned to implement several more projects related to the production of solar energy in Romania.
